Signboard Approval in Singapore
Some signs only need a landlord stamp. Some need a BCA advertisement / signboard licence. Some need PE endorsement of the fixing because the sign is large, heavy or over a public path. Mixing those three up is how projects stall after the letters are already made.
I-SIGNAGE prepares fabrication drawings that can also serve the submission pack: elevations, materials, lighting, and fixing notes. Licence application from S$350 per application as a starting point; PE is quoted when the structure needs it.

Landlord vs BCA vs PE
Mall / MCST / HDB town council: their ID manual and permit. BCA: licence where the advertisement / signboard rules apply to that installation — we advise from the survey, we do not pretend every acrylic door plate needs a licence. PE: structural endorsement for installations that need an engineer’s stamp.
URA rules on conservation shophouses are a fourth conversation. We flag that before cutting stainless in a colour the shophouse guideline will reject.
Sequence
Survey → drawing → landlord / mall comment → revise → fabricate → install in the approved slot. Fabricating before the mall replies is how you own a set of letters that are 50 mm too tall.

Does every shop sign need a BCA licence?
No. It depends on the installation. We tell you after we know the size, location and whether it is an advertisement under the relevant rules. Indoor reception logos generally do not.
How long do submissions take?
Landlord comments can be days or weeks. BCA and PE follow their queues. We put that on the programme so your shop opening is not dated to our CNC slot alone.
Can you submit in our company’s name?
Process depends on the authority and the building. We prepare; sometimes we submit as contractor, sometimes you or the ID submit with our drawings attached.
