Shop Signs in Singapore
Most shop signs we make are for HDB commercial units and shophouses: a fascia of 3–8 metres, an existing electrical point of unknown quality, and a landlord or town council with a written or unwritten rule on how far the sign may project.
Send a photo of the unit front. We will tell you whether a printed acrylic board, a lightbox, or 3D letters will read from the opposite kerb — and what will get rejected at the corridor or void deck.
Typical shop-sign builds
- UV-printed acrylic or ACM board — fastest, lowest load on the fascia
- Lightbox with opal face — readable after 7 pm on a heartland street
- 3D box-up or channel letters on an ACM backing panel
- LED neon-flex in the window for F&B that wants interior glow as well as the fascia
- Side-wall or pillar signs where the frontage is narrow
HDB shops and shophouses
HDB commercial units often sit under a common corridor. Letter height is limited by the beam and by whatever the town council will accept. We measure the clear fascia, not the Google Street View estimate. Conservation shophouses add another constraint: colours, projection and illumination may need URA / landlord sign-off before we cut metal.

What to send for a shop-sign quote
Front photo, logo, whether you need night visibility, and your handover date. If the old sign is still up, leave it until we survey — the existing holes and power point usually decide the new fixing pattern.

How much is a shop sign in Singapore?
It depends on size, illumination and access. A flat acrylic board is a different job from a 4-metre channel-letter fascia. WhatsApp a photo and we quote the actual build, not a per-square-foot guess that ignores lift hire.
Can you install while the shop is open?
Often yes for a simple board. Illuminated fascias and lift work are usually scheduled before opening or after closing so customers are not walking under the working edge.
Do you reuse the old electrical point?
If it is sound and correctly isolated, yes. If the flex is perished or the isolator is missing, we re-terminate as part of the install.
Will a printed board last outdoors?
With UV print and laminate, years, not months. Cheap unlaminated indoor vinyl on an outdoor acrylic sheet is what fails first in Singapore weather.
