Reception letters are a spacing job. We jig the word in the workshop so the installer is not inventing kerning on a ladder. Where the wall was gypsum, a plywood pattress went in first — stainless on plasterboard alone is a callback.
Building management had a say on drilling stone. When they said no, the fallback is a backing panel or a floor-standing directory, not a hidden blob of glue.
